About the Role
As a Sales Expert (SDR & Account Management) at APIMatic, you play a pivotal role in driving our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and revenue growth. Your responsibilities include generating new business opportunities, developing targeted account lists, and engaging in high-level conversations with executives. You will contribute to executing outbound GTM initiatives, identifying ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and aligning messaging with market needs.
Your proficiency in CRM, coupled with a creative mindset and robust communication skills, will be instrumental in understanding customer needs and translating them into qualified opportunities for the sales pipeline.

Job Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the APIMatic sales pipeline and support GTM expansion in target markets.
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop targeted account lists, GTM messaging, and outreach strategies to drive qualified opportunities.
- Conduct high-level conversations with executives and technical teams to understand business needs and position APIMatic’s solutions effectively.
- Research and build new and existing contacts, execute strategic outbound campaigns, send regular emails, and qualify opportunities into the sales pipeline.
- Support the execution of APIMatic’s Go-To-Market initiatives by identifying ICP-aligned prospects and contributing insights from customer conversations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.
- Be available to contribute to internal and external meetings, seminars, and discussions that support sales enablement and GTM learning.
- Prepare and implement solutions by gathering client/customer feedback on the company's services and collaborating internally to refine GTM messaging and value propositions.
- Improve operations by conducting various analyses and recommending changes in policies, procedures, or outreach approaches to optimize GTM performance.
- Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art sales, marketing, and GTM tools and techniques; participate in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; and participate in professional organizations.
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance productivity, optimize outreach processes, and contribute to APIMatic’s long-term AI-led GTM growth strategy.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (in Computer Science or related field is a bonus)
- 2-5 years of work experience in client-facing roles for North American markets
- Experienced in Outbound Sales for SaaS products
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Rest APIs is highly preferred.
- Any knowledge of CRM systems (such as HubSpot) or research platforms would be advantageous.
