About the Role:

As a Software Engineer you will work with APIMatic’s Core team, to develop, maintain, and extend APIMatic’s Code Generation platform. We are looking for an Engineer who can grow and evolve the platform in collaboration with the other team members. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software application using C# and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and implement software solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Write clean, well-designed, and testable code following SOLID principles and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to promote continuous improvement.
  • Improve the platform by removing dead code, paying technical debt, and refactoring, as needed.
  • Handle R&D tasks, explore new technologies, and propose innovative solutions to address complex problems.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • Proficiency in C# programming language with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience designing and developing software applications following SOLID principles and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how REST APIs work.
  • Basic understanding of package repositories like Nuget, PyPi, and RubyGems
  • Experience working with Git.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with Swagger/ Open API spec & Swagger codegen.
  • Experience in designing SDKs and libraries.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple programming languages.
Required Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields.
